#1. With the writer's and actor's strike looming, this show has been filming almost constantly. The male star of this network drama has been doing so much coke and speed to keep himself alert during filming that he looks wildly different not only from each episode to the next, but even from scene to scene which is causing even more filming.
#2. Just because someone got married within the last three months doesn't mean this B list television actress should stop sleeping with her ex-boyfriend does it?
#3. The dog fighting scandal that has rocked professional football could be set to claim another participant. This time it will be one of Hollywood's brightest young film stars. Only B- list, but rocketing up quickly, this actor has hosted dog fights and even breeds them. Not a huge scandal on its own, but he also says he's a vegan and an outspoken supporter of animal rights. I guess he may have to rethink that whole thing huh?
#4. This married A list male actor who has been in a number one film within the last year or so recently stopped in to an adult video store. He rented four movies starring the same actress. The clerk said something to the effect of our actor must really like the actress. Our A lister said he was going to f**k her later that night and wanted to see what he was getting in advance.

Actress salaries obviously vary. An A lister is going to make more than A B, etc. USUALLY. This B list film actress who is thin, usually blond, and has surprisingly good teeth can often be found in A list movies and gets paid just as much as any female A lister. She has been making A list money even when she was just C list or even just doing bit parts. How does she manage such big paydays? Have you noticed how she primarily works with the same studio for most of her films? It could have something to do with the fact that a studio boss was in love/lust with her and she seduced him and did him and filmed it with his knowledge. You can see where this goes. She has several copies of the tape and knows how to get them to his wife. Letting the company pay for your mistakes with a higher salary for an actress is much easier than having your wife divorce you and taking your personal fortune.
OK- I have been researching. I went back and looked at everyone's guesses. Then I looked at the imdb profiles for the following, and I looked at each ones movies and production companies. There were A FEW repeats, but nothing that would seem abnormal or send up a red flag for the following:

Hmmm..... ALL are Columbia Tri-Star pictures. ALL are JULIA ROBERTS?! What is she known for? Her huge toothy grin. She MAY be a-list, not b-list- but she can't open a movie. SH'e had ALOT of bombs. Could she be the actress that seduced an exec and taped it? SHe also did a couple Sony movies, which is Columbia Tri-star's parent company (I think).

pariss good observation and she does make big bucks over everyone and since you mentioned that she was the blind item her before about sleeping with george to get him in a movie so i would say she makes more sense then anyone and she makes top dollars.
Parisss - the only thing that doesn't work is that Julia isn't usually blonde.

I think you might be on the right track. When I googled "good teeth" and actress Julia Roberts kept showing up. The only reason I was thinking it might not be her, doesn't she usually have red hair?

Not usually. But regularly blonde. SHe's been prego alot, and alot of women won't dye their hair light when prego. She was a guess, and I was researching all of the guesses. SHe doesn't totally fit the profile, but she is a guess, and ent said someone wa son the right track. Like I said above- Charlize, Cameron, Claire, Renee & Kate are impossible!!! and ent said "male star". meaning there is/are also a female star/stars. and NO ONE respond by saying "debi mazar". it's not "entourage". move on.
think someone along the lines of vince d. from "criminal intent" who has a history of weird behavior on the set.
"l & o" shows banked shows like this the last time there was a strike looming. and it's just about summer. most shows aren't even filming again until august/sept. unless their season is starting very early or they're in constant production.
think network. think drama (which "entourage" is not. "entourage", as we all know, is science fiction).

I can't stand tobey mcguire. He seems so wimpy and a total pushover. I completely disagree about him being #3. He is not one of Hollywood's rising stars. It's also not Julia as speculated above. With her big smile, it's obvious to everyone she has nice teeth. DUH
I was thinking Britany Murphy for No. 2 but the only TV she's done recently is the voice of Luanne on King of the Hill.

And whoever guess Casey Affleck might be right too. In fact, he is a close friend of Joaquin Phoenix, having even married his sister Summer.
It seems like his acting career has stalled a little while Joaquin can be said to be: up and coming.
But... between the two personality wise, I might have to go with the Casey guess.
Entourage just had their premiere for Season 4. And please - Adrian looks delicous, it's not him.
And for #3 - I wouldn't call Joaquin "young" ladies and gents. He's over 30. And Casey's career has been around since his brother's.
But I could be a bit too nitpicky on the clue language...

#1 I'd be really sad if it was Hugh Laurie. I think he has way too much class to pull a stunt like that. I'm thinking someone far more wild with their ways...
can't be hugh... pretty sure they are on hiatus at the moment, plus it takes a lot to play a character so different from the actor himself.

I'm guessing that Shia LeBoff boy for #3 - the kid due to star in the next Indiana Jones film.
He was raised vegan, parents are hippies, but he's also wild as hell. In recent pictures, he's picking up the inner city aesthetic. Hasn't he been in a couple fights recently?

House is still on hiatus. I was thinking James Woods and Shark, but I'm not sure if it's back in production or not. I can't think of any summer replacement shows that aren't reality shows.
#1 has to be the guy from L&O Criminal Intent. I knew people that worked on that show- that guy is all coked up.

Number 3 sounds like Shia to me too anon 1:31pm. He has had a hit film in Disturbia;and is currently a voice in Surf's up. He will be in the upcoming Transformers and will be playing the son of Indiana Jones. Sounds like a bright{young} film star. Number 1 sounds like Josh Duhamel. I saw him on the today show and he stated that they were currently filming the show. He did have a wild look in his eyes but at the time I attributed it to lack of sleep.
#3, Casey Affleck: Good guess, a solid B-lister who is getting all the good buzz, and then some, about his costarring role with Brad Pitt in "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" (he plays Ford). Expect lots of awards/Oscar buzz for him.
Shia LeBeouf is another good guess. Definitely a B-lister with a rocketing career right now.
BTW: Jack Coleman (Horn-Rimmed Glasses guy on "Heroes") had a chat session on TheEnvelope.com the other day and mentioned that "Heroes" goes back into production next WEEK. He said each ep takes 10-14 days to shoot, which accounts for the early start, but it also has to be NBC wanting to make sure they have eps in the can prior to a strike. They had to have had NO hiatus to speak about.
No way is #3 Joaquin. He has been a devout veagn since birth practically and his parents are strict vegan hippies. Plus i dont think EL would describe an Oscar nominee as up and coming...

casey affleck is from an overeducated cambridge family, married and has a young child. it seems unlikey he and summer phoenix are hosting dog fights. and joaquin has been acting for 15 years. he is way past "up and coming."
